I wanted to add just a little "bling" to my otherwise boring looking enginebay..

Been looking for some time for a nice metal "supercharged/supercharger" or Comptech badge and finally found this.
Hopefully it will save me some time in the future not having to explain about that big black thing on top of the engine every time.

It is indeed from Range Rover, about 1 mm thick alu background base with plastic chrome letters on it. I painted the letters with my New formula red paintstick, as I found the original appearance with chrome letters on the alu background a little bland.
Paid about U$ 23 (incl SH) for it on ebay.
Now will have to wait if the plastic letters will stand up to the temperatures in this location .

First wanted to put it on top of the CTSC, but was a little too big to fit there.
After some looking around, came upon this location, looks not too thacky I hope:biggrin:

It certainly LOOKS nice :smile:

But really, are you sure that adding parts from an ENGLISH eek car will not make your car less reliable.
And, coming from Range Rover, doesn't it also add unnecessary weight to your car. I still can remember you were complaining that, even with the CTSC, you had to really work hard to keep up with me :biggrin:

Just kidding of course, it looks nice in your engine bay.

I don't think it will be English manufacture, more probably asian, so no worries there.

But with you adding soo many exterior mods, I felt my car needed something "flashy" too to at least keep up a little with yours appearance-wise:wink:

The extra weight is not a problem I think, adding perhaps 20 grams extra on my car still won't slow it down enough for you to keep up:tongue:
