Anybody use this. I saw a video of an nsx with something similar. Can you use this without installing a rear hatch scoop? SOS says that they r difficult to tune why is this?

my father has a GT-40 with ITBs made by weber and tuning them is just a mater of placing a tool on the top of them and adjusting each throttle body within a specified range. I understand that the AEM is must, is this what makes I difficult? Getting the ITBs to work with the engine management system?
