Gainesville State Meet
A Statewide meet centered around the Gainesville Area. This, gathering should serve to provide Paintless Dent Removal by PDR specialist Prescot, a group BBQ, Test and Tune at the Speedway, Swap Meet, Photo Ops and Scenic driving and/or nightime street racing among the quaint quiet back roads that abound in the area. This, is indeed a large meet drawing memebers from all over the state, and featuring many activities for the Z enthusiast! This, year we will be inviting the classic Z's, RX-7's, 240SX's, Supras, MR-2's, 3KGT's and a few others to join us, so this should serve to be a true import enthusiasts meet! More details will come in soon, but most likely the BBQ will be at the same park as last years gathering! ) and look under past events! PDR will run around $30 a panel and you will need to email ahead reserving a spot. I encourage, every one who can to make it to this one, as it will prove to be one of the best events of the year! Vik Saini, is organizing this one with me, so keep an eye out for emails from him! PS: Bring $5 for the BBQ fund, we will then go and purchase all the nescessary items, and feel free to bring any special items!

My Z is black, as far as doug...he still has the NSX to my knowledge, however I am not particularly fond of ZFever.

yeah i think doug is a good guy but has lack of intrest in the shop i remember the times when i had my z i loved the blowoff valve i had the blitz the we're proberly the loudest on any car but i sold my z when some lady beat it in a red nsx and she like blew my doors off although i only had a stage 3 it still was kinda embarrasing 3 weeks later i traded my z for my first nsx and 3 years later i'm on my 3rd.....

Gainesville Import Gathering 2K2

Location The Oaks Mall, Gainesville, FL

Well, our friends in Gainesville have finally come to a consortium on the location of the car show. Its going to be located in the rear parking lot of the Oaks Mall in Gainesville, Fl . This, location should offer us plenty of room for the 100+ cars planning on attending. Seeing as, how the Mall manegement was gracious enough to grant us use their facilities, we must remember to adhere to certain rules of conduct, and encourage others to as well. In other words, please have all the fun you want but avoid, things like burnouts and racing around the parking lot. (I have to make this disclaimer ;-) )

With, that said it certainly looks to be a fantastic Gathering. We have 40+ Z's alone attending; ranging in model year and designation, there will also be large Supra, 3000GT's, and RX-7 contingencies, as well as a few NSX's, Porsches, BMW's, and other high end imports. Did I mention we have people traveling from as far north as South Carolina and New Orleans....this is not a meet to miss folkZ! Further, Information regarding the meet as well as an updated list of attendees is available at www.ecza-fl.org .

Caravanning

I would like to encourage every one to caravan to the car show. If you vist www.ecza-fl.org you can look and see who else from your area is attenidng.

I myself will be organizing a caravan from the Hillsborough/Pinellas areas. If, some of our memebers from south west Florida, would like to join up with us please let me know, and the same to our northern members (Springhill, etc..) We, will be traveling to Gainesville, on the I-75 Corridor. If you are interested in meeting up please email me [email protected] and make caravanning the subject of your email.

Other, areas of the state please feel free to organize your own caravans, such as Melbourne, Orlando, etc...

Directions

Take I-75 South to Gainesville

Upon entering the City Limits you will see signs stating that there are several exits for Gainesville. You must take Exit 76

When your coming down the off ramp, make a LEFT turn onto Newberry/University Ave. Head UNDERNEATH the I-75 Overpass.

Go through about 3 intersections and you will see the OAKS MALL on your right hand side. Several restaurants are in front of it.. like Boston Market, Don Pablos, etc.. There is also a Bank in front..

Take a right into that parking lot and head toward the South of the building.. We are located in the Back of the Mall in a very large open parking lot.

Take I-75 North towards Gainesville.
