Sparco Torino in NSX...which rails work the best??

I have a set of Sparco Torino seats that are just waiting to go into my '94 NSX, but they need seat rails. I already tried the search function on here and it seems to be out of order, so I had to start this thread since I am trying to get them in the car soon.

1.) What rails / sliders have people used with the Torinos that have fit the best?

2.) Do the aftermarket rails / sliders make you sit higher or lower than the OEM seats? (*I would not mind sitting a little lower, but NOT higher.)

Thank you in advance for any help. Have a great day! :D

I have the Sparco Milanos with Taitec rails and they sit slightly higher.

See...my head already touches the top of the car, so I cannot go any higher. Which rails will actually lower you down, or at least maintain stock height?

i've tried sparco rails, too tall, built my own, to sit as low as possible..... but no matter which way you go about it..... a bottom mount, with sliders on a torino, is higher than stock. with the torinos, my hair touches the headliner....

I've recently gone back to stock, and will probably try the Recaro SP-A, with side mounts next.

It might be me.... but the stockers felt the same or lighter than the torinos....

I would use the Taitec Bottom Mount Sliding Seat Rails as they are recommended for the Torino seats by Science of Speed.

That's what I have on the Milanos, they sit higher than OEM. Can the Torinos use a side mount?

So as I am understanding, no matter what rails I get I will be sitting higher than stock?? :(

The stock seat is very low. I need to pull off the lower seat cushion and sit on the pan to keep my helmet from hitting at 6'2". I mounted a Recaro once and aside from being to narrow it did not give me any more head room. The other problem was the OE sealt belt mount. I have both the OE and a five point attached to the stock seat and it works well but getting a AM seat to slide and have both belts is not easy. Dan

go with the sparco brackets...

I have the taitec brackets on my torinos and feel that the seats are too high for my taste.

I sat in someone else's NSX in Sacramento that had the sparco brackets and it was positioned much nicer.

Do you know the part number?? I looked in the Sparco catalog and did not see a listing for the NSX. Thanks!

That is an excellent picture, but looks nothing like the NSX bracket unfortunately. Sparco does not make a great setup for the NSX. I will try to take pictures tonight and post.

Then you have the Sparco rails?? Are you using the Torino as well?? I am just trying to figure how low or high the Sparco bracket makes your seating position relative to OEM. Thanks!
