Several people have asked the NSXPO 2003 Planning Committee about whether they can attend the Niello Acura Drivers School portion of NSXPO 2003 at Infineon Raceway on October 11 and 12 as spectators, even though they are not registered to attend NSXPO 2003. We understand how exciting it will be to watch over 100 NSXs driving around one of the most famous race tracks in the world! We hereby extend our invitation to do so to all members of the NSX Club of America. Club members are welcome to come watch the track event without any admission charge. No advance registration is necessary. You can bring a guest with you as part of your membership. Meals are not included but you are welcome to bring your own food and/or to purchase food at the lunch counter.

Those who are not already members of the NSX Club of America, who would like to watch this event, are welcome to join the NSX Club in order to attend. Membership dues are $40 per year. Please bring your NSXCA membership card. In case you don’t have it handy, the gate guard will have a list of all club members in good standing as of September 30, 2003. If you are not already a member of the NSX Club of America, you will need to join the club prior to September 30 in order to get on this list. Given the short time frame between now and then, it is recommended that you join by fax or Paypal, and not by postal mail, which will delay your membership processing. You can join the club by printing out and completing the membership form from the club’s website here and faxing it to 847-869-0302, or by paying for a membership by Paypal here and clicking “Link to Paypal”.

Those who are attending as spectators will not be eligible to go for rides on the track.

See you at NSXPO 2003!

I just want to reinforce that Saturday and Sunday are track only, there will not be any seminars or vendor displays according to the schedule here

Several of the posts on the other thread seem to imply they wanted to come Sunday for other things than just watching the cars and meeting the owners, and I would not want anyone to be disappointed.

I am speechless. Not only the board decided to let spectator come to the track event, it aso free of charge. It make sense to just allow NSXCA member as this is NSXCA event.

I am more impressed that the board are willing to take the task of offering Friday event open seperately. I can't phatom the extra work needed to make this possible. This is really going over and beyond to satisfy NSXCA member.

My hats off to the board!

Great!!!!!!!!!! No better place to start celebrating my B-day so bring on the wine and cheese. Guess I'll have to change my avatar when I get back. Thanks to everyone on the Planning Committee.

good call!
i just might see you guys there now.

I'm not worthy!!!!

I am going to be the ultra lame bench racer this time around... totally totally sucks. I'll come to the track prepared for all the rightfully placed insults toward me! At least I live near Sears Point whereas I can drive my car there easily in the future.

Kenji,

what's this? After all the commotion you raised a month ago about bringing cars to the track, in the end you not even registered??
