Spirited drive on Labor Day, September 5th

Who: Anyone interested in cars and driving them. Currently we have 3
NSX’s and 1 BMW 3 series.
What: Fun drive from Columbus to Southeastern Ohio and back
Where: Start from Kroger parking lot on Sawmill road just north of 270.
When: 9:00 a.m. Monday September 5th, back in the area around 2 or 3 p.m.

The plan is to head east to Zanesville via 70. Then go south on 555 towards McConnelsville where we will stop for lunch. Next we’ll head a bit more east on 78 and turn north on 284. Once we get to 146 we could go directly back to Columbus. A second choice from 146 is to get on 313 going east to 83 north leading to 70 and then back to Columbus.

It looks like the storm that was to pass through on Sunday has slowed down and may hit us a bit on Monday morning.

Hopefully late morning and the afternoon turn out to be good weather.

The planned route has some great driving roads and decent scenery also. I'm looking forward to a great day of driving.

Although the Columbus area is only forecasting 20% chance of rain for tomorrow, southeast of us has a higher %.

We'll have to check the forecast later today but I'm still optimistic.:smile:

We had a good day of driving despite the rainy weather. Next time I’ll find places to stop with facilities. I’m looking forward to good fall weather.
