In the November issue of Road & Track, there is an article on tuners, which includes a Spoon NSX-R GT, Mine's Nissan GT-R, Techart Porsche 997 Turbo, and D3 Cadillac (!) CTS. It has specs and a write-up for each car. It was nice to see an NSX in a mainstream magazine, and IMO the NSX came off respected, though in comparison to a stock NSX a stock NSX was slightly dissed. This was expected as all magazines seem to think they have an obligation to not diss the tuner who the magazine wants to maintain a relationship with for future cars and try to substantiate the consumer spending wads of money for not much better performance. For example, the tuner Porsche is more than twice the price of the stock turbo, with not much better performance, and in some cases, worse performance.

Forget about the review, what about the Side bar stating Spoon will bring LEFT hand drive NSX-Rs to the US starting early next year!!!!!!

Mr.Spoon forgot to tell Road & Track about FactorX and Billy Johnson beating them my 3 seconds at Willowspring.

Lance

With 200+ HP more than the Spoon NSX, FactorX better be beating on the Spoon NSX. I could be wrong on the HP # though. But in this case it's not surprised to see FactorX claiming they are running the same HP as Spoon though. But wait, anything JDM is crap really.

What's with your continuous bad attitude?

Factor X has never lied about their power levels, which have varied over the years from car to car, turbo system to turbo system (various turbo sizes, twin vs. single, etc...), and yes the FX car had about 200hp+ more than the Spoon car. But seriously the attitude is not necessary.

Sometimes the truth does sound harsh to the ear! But no hard feelings should occur if one does feel that one didn't have anything to hide or lie about.
As for you seeing that I have bad attitude, let it be. Because I am the straight forward type of person (I don't know how to kiss ass (Just like I SAID that the wing on FactorX is hideous)). Oh, you forgot to mention that we don't like one another since you first join this community... so it makes perfect sense that we came to this discussion!

The "attitude" was in reference to sarcastically (or truthfully) calling JDM products 'crap', as well as implying that Factor X Racing as liars. Both of which are not necessary comments.

I have been very straight forward with many of my comments as well, some of which people have not agreed with either. I think we might have more in common than you think. I wouldn't say that I don't like you, but rather havn't agreed with everything you have said before, and these kinds of comments continue to not be appropriate.

Personally, I do not care about anyone's opinion if the wing or any other aspect is hideous or not. Many people like the looks of the car, their's a lot about the car that even I personally don't like. But thusfar, the car has been very quick and has won many events. Ugly? -maybe, fast? -yes, does it really matter?

What I want to know and FactorX may want to know is, " does the wing work"?

It is a race car!

I was very courteous in commenting about FactorX's wing. If you'd go back and read what I typed!!
The commment I made was in away (can function look nicer?) or (can you guys find a nicer wing?) I already knew the car performs well... and I gave much props to FactorX...(go back and read my post)
About calling JDM crap, that's something you didn't involved so you wouldn't know.

I recall you commenting about the fact that it dosn't look all that nice, but looks are subjective, some actually like it. Again, their are many things about the car that I personally don't like, but that criticism and search for improvement fuels advancement.

Do you have any suggestions/suppliers for different wing options? Funding is a big limitation since resources are better spent in an area that will yield bigger gains (which have not been the wing lately).

JDM fanboy's call US stuff crap, US Fanboys hate JDM stuff, personally it dosn't concern me. I got to drive one of the most JDM cars out there - the Spoon NSX-R GT and I had a blast. I have a blast driving many US tuners' cars. So at the end of the day, I don't mind :)
