Squeek when Auto Trans Engages

I get a brief low pitched squeak or as some might describe grunt when I shift from disengaged (P or N) to engaged (R or D) on my 91' Auto trans. with 165K miles on the odometer. The only other time this sound happens is when I accelerate hard and hit the next gear, especially 1st to 2nd. The sound seems to be coming from the left rear of the car. I've owned this car for 5K miles and the sound was there when I purchased, and doesn't seem to be getting worse. I don't think it's a motor mount because I can rev the engine in neutral with no visible sign of engine movement or vibration. The only other thing I can think of is a transmission mount or something internal in the transmission. Am I on the right track or way off the mark?

Thx

Front Motor mount....... loose or bad.

With the car in neutral, no load, as soon as it is in gear, drivetrain will pivot....

JMO,
