I have some rims left over from my last car, SSR Type F in 18x9 +32 all around. Took me forever to find them and they're my fav rims! Ideally I'd love to pick up a pair of them in 18x9.5 or 18x10 for the rear, and keep the others for front/spare duty. I should make it clear I am still shopping for my X, so I cannot do test-fits at the moment and all the local cars I know are tucked away for winter
However, my question would be is 18x9 +32 just too extreme to fit up front on an NSX? Even with a rolled front fender? I would plan on coilovers with these, but again coming from a very different kind of car (STI) I'm not sure what latitude I'll have. I'd plan on running 235 or 245 on these as I'm not huge into the ultra-stretch look myself.
All advice is appreciated. If anybody has a pic of any rim in 18x9 +32 (or close to that) I'd love to see it and know what tire size is being run...
For reference, here's roughly how they rims look on a black NSX (I can't tell if these are CE28n or TypeF, but they're very similar designs):
