Starter Solenoid rebuild?

Hey just wondering if the starter Solenoid can be rebuilt...Was just under the car the other day and it looks like there are 3 screws to open up the Solenoid.....Anyone do this with the starter still mounted?
Thoughts? Thanks

Yes.

If you use the search function you will eventually find a post from probably 6+ years ago that goes through the rebuild of the solenoid and sourcing the replacement parts. The post covered rebuild with the starter out of the car.

You could be the first if you try it with the starter in the car.

Hey thanks for the info...I will have to look for that post... Been one of those months, had to replace my clutch master/slave cylinder, now starting issues!!!
