I'm going to the machine shop tomorrow to fabricate 25mm adapter for the front wheel. Since aluminium is out of stock we are going to machine steel plate instead. Would that be bad for the wheel hub or wheel since they are dissimilar metal. Btw the size of stud would be M12x1.25 correct?

Thanks david for the confirmation. I'm collecting my adapters today. Will post a photo of 25mm front and 35mm rear adapter installed for everyone's reference.
FWIW, I've used steel spacers from Dali with no problems.

Photos today. 25mm adapter front and 35mm adapter rear. Fit just nice with hubcentric centres. Less body roll.

Thanks. I don't think I need new wheels now. I'm pretty happy with the current setup. Cheaper tires, more comfort and no worry about potholes.
Looks 100% better.

Without the adapters.

Hi Jin
I hate to break it to you, but body roll has to do with your sprung mass center of gravity, your sway bar, and your spring rate. Mounting your wheel with a 35,000mm adapter won't have any effect on body roll.

cheers,
John

Big difference and not even lowered back then. Lowered and due to camber the rear will be hidden much more. I think 35mm rear and 25mm front is the limit. Anymore than that the wheels will come out pass the fenders.
that is a big difference on the before and after.
i didn't realize how far in the wheels actually sit until now.

Actually track width (increasing it) reduces weight transfer.

so why are you running 15/16" wheels on a 2003+ body? OEM 2003+ run on 17/17.

Mine is actually 1991 but I facelift it to 02+. Not fully done yet since the sideskirt is still oem 91. I like this wheel for it's fat 5 spokes ala technomagnesio, cheaper tires, comfort and it fit my brake calipers.
