Stmpo Race products is now offering an NSX JGTC (super GT) NSX Rear Hatch Snorkel for a discounted price for the month on August.

We will be selling these for $594.50 on our website that is being launched sometime this month. So until that happens we are offering them to prime members for 550.00 pay pal shipped to your door (lower 48 only at this price)

The Stmpo Race Products JGTC (super GT) NSX Rear Hatch Snorkel is an exact replica of the JGTC car's snorkel. Our snorkel comes with a 3” inch flange around the base of the snorkel which gives you the ability to mount the snorkel over an existing hatch… or under mount the snorkel for a more JGTC look (the under mount creates the flush 1 piece look)

The Stmpo Race products NSX JGTC (super GT) NSX Rear Hatch Snorkel is made out of Fiberglass (FRP) from a wooden blocked mold to ensure proper symmetry and fitment. We will run another batch in CF if a group by of 5 total CF pieces is reach at a price of 995.45/

We have the R&D almost finished for a high quality - lower priced lexan hatch and frame combo that will be out shortly. We will offer a complete flush mounted snorkel on a lexan hatch with a lightweight fiberglass frame.

The hatch will probably not be available before this special promotion has ended though. So if you would be interested in a hatch / frame / snorkel combo… please contact us in the month of August.

Looks like it doesn't sit flush on the glass. Are you addressing this issue so that there are no gaps between the snorkel and the glass?

Issue has been addressed....

here is a pic of our cf snorkel mounted flush on a cf hatch.

the gaps you see in all pics are directly related to the fact that they are just set on top of the glass. You can mount this in many ways.. we prefer the under mount with body filler for the flush look... pic included

The hatch/snorkel looks like the one Jozer bought from GT-One.

Will there be an option to mount this on the factory glass, or is it only for the lexan hatches?

we made all of the snorkels with a large 3 inch flange all around the base... primaraly to allow for multiple mounting capabilities.. whether lexan, glas, frp, cf, over-mount - undermount.

It is your universal snorkle....

let me know what your trying to accomplish and we can build it for that purpose as weel.

We fabricate all of our parts so making them to fit your need is no issue

We have the solution to the mount on glass. We found a product consisting of a glass primer that is used in conjunction with an adhesive that will stick this snorkel on the glass without the worry of losing it under driving conditions. This primer adhesive combo will cost us $30.00 and I will pass that price on to all buyers of the snorkel.



We have also molded the flange found around the base of the snorkel to work with this glass application with zero fitment issues ans so easy you can install this yourself. The flange is graduated to a thin exterior with a sturdy interior design for mounting strength.



Here are some pics of the new flange specifically designed for the glass application.



1) Add special filler to the glass for the perfect flange "over mounted" fitment

2) Apply and remove the snorkel utilizing a special release agent to keep the shape under the part.

3) Modify the flange above the added filler to create an OEM like graduated flange (even and skinny at the exterior - even and thicker inside flange for support of the mounting)

4) Found and tested a 2 part (primer / adhesive) application that will keep the snorkel mounted even under 100 plus mph (for off road use only at that speed .... )



We said before and we want you to understand that all requests will be taken serious by our R&D. We fabricate all parts in house so the R&D is done by the same individuals that manufacture the original part.

well... personally... I wouldnt mount a part to the glass because were big believers in functionality over looks...

We did the R&D to mount this over the glass for a member who wanted to order it that way... only to not order it...lol

We have our snorkel, smaller snorkel, hatch, and fiberglass frame at a plastic fab shop now...

our pricing for a snorkel mounted to a lexan window with a perfect fitment fiberglass frame will be slightly higher than what umbrellaautodesign sells just the snorkel for...

Also cheaper than what Acura sells just the replacement rail (aluminuim frame)..

I believe the last qoute I received was 2 years ago around $1800.00 (maybe someone can price check that)

Very far below what a hatch/rail/ and outdated duct (IMO) would cost from SOS...

STMPO was manifested when over the past 7 years.. I got sick of paying retail with no other option available. When we tried to contact Umbrella to use american made high quality products... they were more interested in selling "real JDM parts"... post 13 on this thread
