Subwoofer and SOS harness connections questions

Hey guys, I did a search but really came up with no results. Does anyone have any pictures of the factory subwoofer location to show it's size? anyone know if I can fit a small digital amp there? its 7" x 8.5" x 2". I can install a small fan there.

Another question I had was regarding the SOS wire adaptors. They have quite a few listed on their site, but it is not explained clearly. I am REMOVING the factory head unit, and using my phone as the source. I am running a JL amp to aftermarket speakers. Is there a harness here that helps me?

The reason I'd like to use the factory sub loaction is that it is lower and more centered on the car for weight, and has a shorter wire run to the battery and speakers, and I won't take up any trunk space at all.

The amp should fit no problem left to right, but I am not sure about front to back. Im sure you will be fine.

The wire harnesses are pretty straight forward.
1st one allows you to unplug the factory radio and use this harness as a high level in for an after market amp. You then plug this harness back in to the factory radio. Essentially keeping the factory wiring intact in case you want to go back to all factory.
2nd one allows you to use an aftermarket head unit and use it pre outs to provide signal to the factory bose amps.
3rd one is for aftermarket head unit and speakers.

You will probably want the 3rd one so you can run the speaker wires directly to the amplifier output. I am assuming you are using the headphone port on the mp3 player as the audio source, but you can just run a 3.5mm jack to rca cable straight to the amp input and be done (assuming it has auto turn on....which it does....i think).

No I don't think there is auto on. I need a 12V trigger. I'm also looking for a one click wire to charge the phone and give me audio out. I want to just put the phone in the coin tray. Any idea on a good wire to use for this?

The wiring goes like this: iphone audio out to JBL MS-2 processor via 1/8" mini stereo jack. MS-2 out to amp...

amp has an RJ11 connector for remote volume knob that I will mount some place convenient.

So what I want is a harness that give me the factory speaker wire with leads... on the radio end and I guess the door end. IS there such a thing? I prefer not to cut anything even in the door end.

I'd also love to figure a way to get a 12 trigger off the phone.
