Suggestion for Improvement of Marketplace (not the typical BS though)

Is there any way we can tell people NOT to just delete the prices in a thread and replace it with "SOLD". Even though the item has been sold, going through the marketplace and looking at the prices items were sold for is a good way to ballpark the price you can expect to pay for something and the typical practice of just replacing the asking price with SOLD once it is is a bit frustrating when you are trying to do this.

OP's have the ability to edit their own posts down to a period or "SOLD", without approval, like this thread. Typically, a reply of "SOLD" is approved and the thread is closed, like this thread. Sometimes, however, the original post has already been edited at that point. Once the thread is closed, only moderators can edit text.

I agree. Unfortunately the only way to enforce it would be to disable editing of ads, which is not very practical at this point.

you must have caught him on a vacation or something... i've put 2 for sale ads up in the last couple months both were up by the next morning.

I wish we could volunteer to help with the postings of WTS adds if he/she needs help with all of them. There seems to be plenty of people on here every day, each and every day that would be good sub-moderators.

My WTS post never was never approved and I was never sent any info on it. Also my IM to ask why went unanswered. I don't understand why? I really need to get some items sold.
