swapping brake disc sides

Does any know if there is any benefit (or is it even possible) to swap the R front disc over to the L front disc or vice/versa after a few thousand kms?

would not do anything inless you have more wear on one side which mean you need to rebuild your pistons in the brakes then have the rotors turned
