TCS Code 5 - 1

I finally got around to jumping the service connector this weekend to read the yellow TCS error code and I got 5 slow blinks and one quick blink. Abonormal fail-safe relay, throttle actuator or throttle body.

I did the search and found nothing. I looked it up in the service manual and went through the troubleshooting section. Nothing. Pulled out the fuses to reset the ECU and TCS. Checked all the connectors and everything was fine. Could this have anything to do with the throttle body? Should I try cleaning it? Could it be a bad sensor somewhere? My next move is a new TCS relay and then a TCS ECU.

The funny thing is that the TCS off button doesn't work. The button doesn't light up anymore and the TCS off light doesn't come on either.

Anybody else have any ideas or got the same code?

Did the TCS ecu reset the same 5-1 code after you cleared the code out and did the TCS off button work normaly untill the code set?...JZ

Yes. I tried pulling the clock fuse and I still got the code. Then I disconnected the battery and still got the same code. TCS button still doesn't work. I'm going to test the button to see if it's broken.
