guys,I was out enjoying a brisk drive on the juice and forgot to turn off my tcs.as we all know when it kicks in it kills the fuel supply which could be a disaster if you did not have a fuel pressure saftey switch.. (i do)heres my question:I have never had the tcs activate never mind while spraying.I hit the spray the car took of like a rocket and I was quite pleased with myself until I felt the jolt of my tcs kick in and limit my fuel.lucky for me I run a saftey switch that shuts down the nos if fuel pressure drops.but I was under the understanding that the tcs light blinks when engaged.mine came on and stayed on until I pulled over and turned the car off and back on.everything normal.I always turn of the tcs while spraying for obvious reasons but forgot on this run.is it normal to have it stay lit.like i said my nos saftey features saved the day but was baffled the light stayed on till I turned off the motor and back on.any feedback very welcome
thanks in advance
David

David,
That is why I unplugged the TCS computer on my car. Never drive in the rain anyway.

I've had it come on probably around 10-15 times. The light just blinks while its active, then stops when it doesn't recognize a problem (I guess). It mostly happens when I'm going around a turn with a puddle of water in the middle of the turn and when I accelerate on purpose. Or the same situation except with excess dirt/small rocks on the road.
My light has never stayed on though, good thing nothing bad happened to your car.

BTW, hows your kit coming along?

If I forget to turn off TCS, it reminds me of so in 1st gear towards 7000 RPM.

I have the BBSC.

Drive in the rain.....it is just a.....oh, nevermind.

Syonara :
Kits are done! finally, will ship very soon.

Andy:
have you ever seen the tcs light STAY lit until reset by turning motor off? thats the only thing thats bugging me other then I was dumb enough to forgetand turn it off before I armed my N20.I noticed the other day when I went to turn her off I had to hit the switch several times.it may just be getting to an intemittemt phase right before my tsc switch or computer goes.anyone know how much to replace one so I can disconnect it?

ps I want to make this clear.I am speaking of the tcs light top center that inticates its been activated and not the light that stays on to tell you that you did the right thing and turned the tsc system off before spraying or running at track

Rob, Bryun Zublin just got me thinking.I have been running the spray forsometime and never forgot to turn TSC off.I think I am in aggreement with you.disengage perm (better safe then sorry or use dali's smart tcs.I will look into it as an add on option for those not wanting a perm solution, not like you cant plug it righ back in though

I think I'd prefer some type of TCS connection that shuts off the N2O flow...

David,
It only takes 1 minute to plug it back in. Have you ever used your tcs anyway? First thing I used to do when I got in my car was turn off the tcs.

David, I think you experienced your Map Sensor dumping fuel to protect your engine. I had the same issue with the 1st gen software on my BBSC. Basically, the system sees boost and shuts down. Did you have to pull over and turn your key on and off?
