Technos...can they be polished?

I'm just wondering if Technos can be polished. Anyone know? Thanks

I don't think its a good idea to try to polish magnesium wheels. I remember something about corrosion problems or seomthing like that. Could be wrong, but I haven't seen a set yet thats been polished. Maybe it could work if you get a real good clear coat, also I don't know if magnesium would shine as nice as aluminum when polished.

I've seen the magnesium valve covers polished, and they look quite good. I've also seen magnesium wheels on Alfas polished... they look good as well. I'll be selling my tecnomagnesios soon if you're interested.

I believe Mike had the valve covers polished not chromed... (the valve covers and injector covers on the NSX are Mg):
