Ok, after years of people saying i need to lower the car i finally did. I had the Tein s tech installed last week.

Does this look correct? Seems like the front is high to me.

Thanks
Mike

I'd give it a week or so for the springs to settle a bit. And also a further away picture would be a better reference for us to go off of.

do you have your spare tire in there? there is a noticeable difference in the height with and without it. it seems ok with the spare, but take it out and the front is too high to me.

What shocks are you running? Do you have a before shot? What size wheels are you using? I plan on installing mines tomorrow.

Doesn't matter how far you drove. How long since you installed?

It takes a while for the springs to settle. Give it a week

Oh, i thought they would have settled after driving that far. They were installed the day before the picture was taken and are a used set but weren't on but about 500 miles.

The car is now in the paint shop for the R hood and i won't see it for at least 3 weeks so maybe it will look different then.

Thanks
Mike

I would be glad with this ride height. Lower is not necessary better.

Yeah, i have went 5 years at stock height. Problem to me is the front looks higher then the rear.

Mike
Only a small amount. Are your tires smaller in the front than stock? Give it some time to settle and see if you can live with it. I could if the rest would be perfect.

it's normal for the front to be higher then the rear. i have s tech too, been on there since last year. i think tein make it that way so the car is, well, look more flat/even.. i notice mine is still a little higher in the front then rear. even after it settled.

BTW, OEM it's even more extreme, the front is like an amphibian car.:)

Thanks guys probably worried for nothing. Never really did many mods since i bought the car, now i seem to be doing everything

Wheels are 1" larger in front but not sure the overall size difference with tires. It probably is the reduced weight from no spare like HBui39 said.

Mike

it will settle, but not enough to make up the difference. it bothered me enough to put the spare in, but the performance loss bothered me enough to just lower the bilsteins.

You sound like me, little things drive me crazy . The car is in the body shop now because I am going R hood so the spare can't go back in. Guess i'll try to live with it, if not i will have to get some bilsteins since i'm oem.

Yeah mine is just like that, the height level is perfect once you sit in it though.

installed the s-tech's today. this was right after i was done, probably driven for 5miles. front does look a bit high i the pic, but when i parked it back in the garage the front looked more level with the rear.
