A couple of weeks ago I posted a request for some help in checking out a 1997 NSX that was in Florida (I'm in California). Several of the NSX Prime members jumped in and really got involved. I really appreciated all of you for doing that and it proved all the great things I had read about the NSXers in these message boards. I want to post a sincere *Thank You* to all of you... and to let you know that, at noon today, November 7, 2000, I purchased a gorgeous NSX-T. It's a 2000 Spa Yellow Pearl with black interior, 6-speed manual transmission, and chromed factory wheels. It drives like candy... SWEET! I am surprised with the amount of low-end torque this car has. It really is better than the dream.

Great -- I'm just beginning to enjoy my '00. It drives like no other car I have ever owned. Did you buy new? If so, what build number was it? Enjoy the car

Congrats big time on your purchase...and to join the ultra-exclusive community of we 2000 NSX owners is even better!

Spa yellow is a real beauty, sure to turn heads even at large NSX gatherings. Enjoy!

And I have to ask...is your comment about it being better than the dream at all related to my signature quote?

Akira,

Yes... my comment about the "reality" is a total plagiarism of your signature... and everywhere else it shows up. Over the last few years, I have enjoy the many NSX web sites, yours included. We've exchanged emails a few weeks ago as I was looking for a white 1997 (maybe you remember?), but when this yellow 2000 came along at an incredible price, I just couldn't pass it up. And man, am I glad I looked at it. The car is spectacular... and who needs a blower? (or maybe I've been driving a Civic for too long (grin). I've already got an NSX web site started... with personalized Calif. plates to match the URL. Looking forward to getting together for a road trip sometime.

Todd,

You and James did a fabulous job! I really appreciated all the photos you took... that really helped. Thanks a *TON* for doing that. I had my heart set on a white NSX for many years... but when I checked out the yellow 2000, I just couldn't pass it up. It was stunning, below market value, and in *PERFECT* condition.

Again, I want to complement all the NSXers that checked out the car and sent me reports. You guys are great, and I hope to see you all at some future NSX gathering... just look for the "NSX1.com" NSX.
