I wanted to make a thread of the progression of my car. I gave a verbal commitment on my birthday November 10th that I would purchase the vehicle from the owner and picked it up on November 15th. It had about 39,700 or so miles when I picked it up. It now has about 40,400.

I have always liked to implement my own taste into all my cars. Modding a car for me is more than having the parts on my car, but rather the joy from the anticipation of doing it. I am trying really hard to control myself and do my mods slowly over a period of time. It's also a lot easier on the pocket. By creating this thread, I can always look back on where it all started. Maybe even indulge myself in reminisce of the time, joy, the people that have helped and the efforts that they and I have spent on the creation of what would be my car. So with no further ado, I bring to you..

looks like a good plan... but please trust me on this one... NO GO on those indiglos....:frown:

instead slap on one of the ARK's i got lying around

not a fan of RF, but it looks like a good set up nonetheless...

good luck with all your projects, and be sure to post a picture or two along the way

What is the difference between the arks and the indiglos?

sort of a joke.... the INDIGLOS i'd just say ditch the idea all together. if anything try to get your hands on the pretty rare NSX-R gauge faces that vance used to sell... those are PIMP...

ARK is an exhaust... as i see no real exhaust mods on the list yet...

but best wishes and best of luck on all mods and upgrades~!!! its a fun but addicting ride~!!! trust me

I just wanted to update the dash as it looks identical to some of the older hondas I got laying around. I've got this idea to implement a more modern looking dash all together but I'll have to see how much the cost of it will turn out.

Normally, I'm a pretty conservative type of guy. I gave myself a 5k limit to work with each year for mods/maintenance but I've already dumped a little over 8k on the car these past couple months and we're barely heading towards the 3rd month of this year. Oh boy. Anyway, here is a couple items I found the time to install and take pictures of.

I installed the comptech short shifter + SOS Short Gear Stalk and a Polish Shifter from Dali. The SS made a real big difference and so far, it's definitely my favorite mod by far. As far as the short gear stalk goes, I really don't notice much of a difference and I probably wouldn't recommend it.

The GTLW has a nice deep growl and is not overly excessive loud as I thought it might be which is good. Aside from the sound, there isn't much increase in performance at all if any. I'm sure it'll pay bigger dividends once I install a set of headers to accommodate it. I've got some more goodies going on the car. Just have to find the time to install it.
