The last straw.........Weather!

Ok,
So I know I should pick my teeth up and move on to the next rodeo but the weather here in Iowa really SUCKS! After enduring a winter of Ice and snow and my NSX under a cover for the most part, spring and summer are finally here, Hooray!...........Not.

Light rain, rain and more rain forecast for the rest of my NSX days! A good friend of mine wanted me to drop by today and see my car and well you gussed it! As soon as I back out of the garage, light piss-me-off rain starts. Pull back in, turn key off.

Last week, drove to Kansas city and back, (180 miles one way) forecast and doppler indicated clear sailing.....NOT! Rain.

I'm going to sell my stock options, house and other non-essential items and move to sunny San Diego.....Maybe.

Sorry for the rant, but my NSX is washed & waxed and looks like a milloin bucks and I have a week off from work to boot! forecast.......rain

Somebody call me a "Waambulance" please!

move out IOWA already!!! I drove my Accord there for an intern job 5 years ago, only lasted me one summer... Where else you get to enjoy the nsx, even my modded Accord is a waste there... J/K.

I have still not taken the NSX out. It has 7 months of dirt on it. I probably should sell it but I won't. It's going to rain for another week here and there are no roads, not one worth driving on.
My plan is to get it together and move to BC or northern California.

Sounds like last summer here in upstate NY. This summer has been beautiful to make up for last.
If you move to cali. you will never get your car up to speed because of traffic jams. :biggrin:

dude...i'm in "sunny" ca. and guess what...up until a week ago, it's been freakin' raining.

we have had shitake mushroom weather.

although, right this minute it's 10:55pm perfectly clear, and well 72 degrees outside.

today, i was naked and still sweatin' it was so dang hot out!!! :tongue:

I live in Wisconsin so I understand about the crappy weather, but this week is a perfect example of a midwest summer week. Nice out all week long and then the weekend comes and of course it's supposed to rain. And then the next step will be unbearable heat and mosquitos. God I love Wisconsin.

Hey - Chicago area Illinois is just Wisconsin weather with 10x the traffic. I'd take Wisconsin anytime. You got the heat/mosquito thing pegged, too!

I grew up in the "arrowhead" or northeastern Minnesota, which is 4000 square miles of prime mosquito breeding land. Wonderful in May and October, but the rest...
