Blackstone is about the only affordable/accurate way one can track the oil wrt to how the engine is used, IMO, there are many quality oil on the market and if you put your engine under stress on a limited bases, the oil is probably fine. it might be something else was not right to blow the engine. I don't know enough about how the oil is made and all the chemistry involved, the idea of using natural gas sounds great and Roger is paid by Pennzoil but he does not often endorse product especially oil if its not something special.
The price of this oil is slightly higher than the next best by a couple bucks & you can find it locally. Pennzoil Ultra was impossible to find and nobody knew why, it has the highest shear strength, now we know....its been replaced by the even better PureFlow  and its affordable. Some of us like the Zinc additive but if its too high, it shortens the life of the cat.
I do like the idea of keeping the internal clean as carbon build up is hell. Does it really do it well? Who knows? If it is true, that alone I am willing to use.
Now Shell is doing the natural gas thing for F1 so its a positive trend.
