I was doing some reading the other day while Prime was down, and came across some interesting stuff on the S2000 when it was at its concept stages.

1995 Tokyo Auto Show

When you look at the photos and compare it to the final S2000, there's a lot of change that took place. In my opinion, the S2000 concept was a bit weird... but they eventually ironed out the problems. Now we have the concept of the HSC, it's VERY possible that Honda will simplify and improve the HSC's design.

Hopefully Honda does the same thing with the HSC -- refine it into the supercar it could potentially be. (starting with 500HP for NetViper ;) ) I'm sharing this because this discovery has really lifted my hopes about the HSC... maybe somebody else's spirits will be lifted too.

I'm with you Neo. If I remember right, the concept S2000 also had a 5 cylinder engine, but was changed to a 4 cylinder for production. Maybe there is still hope that the HSC engine will change into something we'll like!

I hope they make the HSC. I would love to get one as long as it is 70K or less the only way I would pay more is if its at least 450HP.

We can only hope right. No more hanging with the Italian cars would be awesome and at the same time it would be more than stylish ergonomics and well built.

I hope they don't change the front end!!!

They can work on the rear though....

I *LOVE* the front... although i'd want the "bubble" on the headlights flattened. It just reminds me of a celica too much.

As for the rear, back to the drawing board for honda. :p I wouldn't mind seeing a more exotic Accord Euro-style of taillights. Using this design could potentially have a mild hint of the old trademark NSX rear. And an integrated spoiler because they are sexy. :)

how about these taillights?

Oh i forgot about these photoshop HSC rears,

and Neo do you remeber this

BTW the rear of the HSc in the 2nd pic should be the production version.

I really like the one in the second pic, but I really hope that Honda can make it a bit larger, and use the mugen V8

haha... i remember that photobutchered job i did with the '02 tail. :p

i like that red NSX rear... especially with the exhausts on the side (makes the car look wider) and i'd still need an integrated spoiler. :D oh, and the wider side intakes are needed because the HSC will have 450hp+ :D

Exactly. Let's hope the break through once again with 120hp per liter. That would be fine by me. Especially if they use a 3.5liter as is in the show car. I know everyone wants 450hp, but 420 would be ok too.

I think alot of people would be ok with that too.

Today Honda can do more than 135 hp/L and I would go with at least 3,8L if not 4,0L.

I am truly dreaming about the Mugen V8 4L @ 590hp... This would make another breakthrough, continuing what was initiated in 1990...
