That cool but still stupid. All it would take is for them to fire a shot in the same place and that fool would be going to the morgue.
 
Or a bad shot in the gap between the glass and the lower metal shield....

At that distance, a person that is reasonably skillful with a gun shouldn't have any problem hitting the target.

Not saying I would stand there but I am guessing he has pulled a trigger before and thus had good confidence he would hit the glass.

There's ONE way to sell that product.

Smartest idea? No, but I sure do think that guy has sold more than one of these units thanks to this ad campaign.

The first guy to go around selling bulletproof vests to law enforcement had a very similar tactic (Though, I believe he shot himself...not any real amount better) it worked out ok for him.
