Thoughts on flip-up headlight cosmetic upgrade

I like the flip-ups, but have always felt the cheek lights are the real problem with the NSX front end "dated" look. I've been waiting 14 years for someone to develope something to no avail so I'm going to start a piece soon. My rough plan is to make a mold of the original upper cover, fill in the cheek lights and recess some very small red turn signals. The mounting will be a challenge for sure, and recessing the signals while still being able to see them from the side of the vehicle may be tough also, but I do have fabrication skills. Anyone have a damaged cover they would like to donate, or sell? The other thing I'm going to look at is if I can lighten up the flip-up assembly. The cradle for that assembly is STEEL! How dare they! Must have been designed by the same person that they assigned the wiper mounts to(too beefy IMO). If anyone sees any nice small lights I could use as signals, please advise. Since the next gen is front engine and a 430 is a wee bit pricy, tweaking the old boy into the "timeless" catagory makes sense from my seat. TIA
