Time for my 45k

It's time for my 45k service and I've decided based on personal experience and other posts that Steven Creek won't be getting my business this time around.

Therefore, I want to ask the forum for a shop recommendation.

I'm leaning toward Gerry Johnson mostly out of turbo curiosity and this thread. I'd really love to go see his shop, and this group trip seems to have died.

Then again, there is always Don Lam @ Hilltop.

Are both equally good? Does Gerry only do Turbo? And is there anyone else I should be considering? I'm in San Jose, but I'm taking a couple weeks off, so I don't mind traveling.

Actually, I already decided to go with Hilltop. In fact, I was just there on Thursday. All is well with the car and I was happy with the service. The car purrs like my cats and feels extra smooth. I will need to go back however as I'm in need of some new stoppers. It is a little far, but worth the drive, especially when other Xs are in shop.
