I can't get replacement Toyo RA1s and there is no ETA nationwide. Any suggestions on what is available to fit prodrives 17 x 7.5 and 18 x 9.5.

I was running 235/40/17 and 275/35/18 for the toyos on the track but not sure what size I should look at for putting on street tires while I wait for the toyos to become available.

from what I've read on prime, the nitto nto1 is faster and still provides the same comforts the ra1 provide. If you want a compromise street/track tire with a higher utog rating meaning it may last longer.the dunlop star spec z1 is also very good.

Do I stick with the same tire size for the dunlops? Originally, frisby suggested 205 for the toyos but the track rats here told me do 235 to avoid understeer from 205s.

If you don't mind the rub from the 235's I would stick with your 235/275 stagger

I have the same wheels and for street I have Falken Azenis RT615 (215/40/R17) (265/35/R18) and really love them. They are now discontinued but it's still available in limited supply online. The RT615K is the replacement (review). Tsuchiya has the same tire sizes listed above on his prodrives according to Best Motoring NSX-R Megabattle.

I have the Dunlop Z1 Star Spec in 215/40/17, 265/35/18 on my 17x8" front and 18x9.5" rear. Seem to be excellent extreme performance summer tires.

I recommend having the 215 max in the front to avoid rubbing for a street set.

The Star Spec beat out the Falken Azenis RT615 (the older model) in their comparison test done a few years ago:

The rubbing doesn't bother me since I am rarely at lockout (no need to parallel park the NSX around here) and am used to it at the track. Plus my RA1s have already rubbed off the fender liners so there is "more space" as result.

I would use these both as streets and track tires, at least until RA1s are available again. I didn't shave the Toyos since they were street tires also.
