I just noticed that I have a nail in one of my new Bridgestone S03 tires. I will be taking this car to the track quite often in the near future and I'm concerned if it will be safe to do so with a patch. I will be putting extreme demands and temperatures on this tire and I'm curious if anyone knows if it's safe to take a tire on the track with a patch? Are there any types of patches that are better than others? I understand the tires on the track can get to 200 degrees F.
Any expert opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan

Wow! You are correct in stating that it is the Mother of all debates. Based on Andrie Hartanto's track experience, I think I'm going to get it professionaly patched. I'm still unsure if I'll ever take these tires to the track, but I'll definately continue to use them on the street.
