tire size question

I recently obtained a set of '92 oem wheels to replace the beat-up ones on my car. The new set came with 2 very good 225x50x15 tires on the front. If I use these, i presume I'd need to get 245x50x16 for the rear to maintain the proper ratio for the tcs. My q's are: will these larger sizes compromise the handling of the car? Will the larger size on the front cause undue wear on the steering rack? Will this size cause a significant difference in the esae of steering? Will this cause more bump-steer?

I would just junk the two front tires. Maybe you can sell them on eBay.

Sure, you could get oversized rear tires to match (and the TCS will work for the size you mentioned). But that means that you will be using the wrong tire sizes front and rear - and for a while, since that also means you'll probably want to go through two sets of oversized rears while the fronts wear down. The 245/50-16 will result in poorer acceleration; the difference in outer diameters results in a difference in effective gearing that is almost as much as the difference between the stock 4.062 R&P gear and the NSX-R 4.235 R&P gear, but in the opposite direction.

Don't throw good money after bad...
