Up for sale is my Titaniumdave / Cedar Ridge-designed Brembo F-50 / Lotus BBK that was on my previous NSX when I purchased it. I was planning to keep this setup for my coupe, but I’m running a 16” front wheel and this kit requires a 17” wheel to work.

Our own fellow Primer Titandiumdave (Cedar Ridge Fabrication) designed this custom kit a few years ago. This kit utilizes the larger “F-50” caliper in the front and a “Lotus” caliper in the rear. From FXMD’s own tests, the brake bias on this kit is roughly 55% front / 45% rear, which is more in line with the stock NSX brake bias than what the standard Brembo GT kit offers (the F50/Lotus kit almost exactly matches the OEM NA2 brake bias). More info on the kit and discussion / specs here: http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php/87933-Brembo-F-50-Lotus-caliper-BBK-4000-complete

Billy’s info on bias of various brake setups is post #64 here: http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php/154797-Which-Big-Brake-Kit/page3

When the PO purchased it, he had the calipers stripped and refinished to a bright orange; it’s a beautiful color that is very similar to the orange color McLaren uses. The pads and full-floating 328mm rotors are in excellent condition, and the rotors come with anti-rattle hardware so the rotors aren’t noisy on the street (I purchased a spare set of anti-rattle clips from Dave that I ended up not needing that I will include as well). I will also include the Brembo E-brake (Dave’s kit did not originally include this, so the PO purchased the E-brake setup from SOS) and all supporting lines, brackets and hardware so this setup is fully complete.

Note that the rotor hats on this setup are fairly thick, so they will add roughly 7mm of negative offset to wheels front and rear (meaning with this kit, a ET44 wheel would be at ET37 wheel, etc.). My 17” Prodrives fit perfectly over these brakes, as well as my 18”/19” Advan RSII, so I believe these have a slightly slimmer form factor than a StopTech ST40 but please do your research on what wheels will fit.

Asking $3,800 local pickup, please add for shipping. Serious inquiries only please. No trades. Thanks!

Thanks, I tried to respond but it said your box was full. That is 4.5 pounds heavier than the regular Brembo BBK (11.5 per rotor). I heard these were more of an enduro type setup so the hat and rings are thicker. Do you know if replacement rings are still available? Front and rear are the same rotors? I know the front uses the F50 caliper setup but the rears should use the norma Lotus caliper setup. Do you know if the thinner rings from a regular Brembo BBK would work?

Thanks – sorry about that, just cleared it out so I can receive PM’s again. The 328mm rotor size is still available from Brembo, and Racing Brake makes a 330mm rotor size that I believe works. I’m not sure on the thinner rings for the fronts, it may be worth asking Titaniumdave on those. But agree with you that the thinner rings should work on the Lotus in the rear as it’s the standard setup.
