I'm getting ready to install my BBK, however my rear kit hasn't shown up on my doorstep yet. I'd like to know if the Brembo Logo on the front calipers is the exact same size as the Brembo logo on the rear calipers. I'm making an orange vinyl overlay to go over the white logo. It will match my car.

I guess it would depend on the casting. Usually the rear calipers are smaller. It would be best to wait until they arrive to be sure.

If you're getting the Brembo Gran Turismo brakes, then the only difference between the front and rear brake kits are the bell (hat) and the brake lines. The bell is different because the center hole in the rear is enlarged to fit the rear hub. The Calipers are identical (Family_A).

.

actually , the front hub is bigger! but same idea, the front and rear calipers are identical on brembo gt kit

If you have the same size/model calipers front and rear then most likely.

Are you afraid of the vinyl burning off or discoloring?

Well one guy on here that did a brake upgrade got F1 Honda decals and put them on his calipers. So I'm assuming that the vinyl won't burn off. I hope not at least. If it does I guess I just scrape it off.

Ok great... then I guess I can get the same size decal made for the fronts and the backs.

So my NEW QUESTION IS...
The wheels i'm currently running are TSW Thuxtons, 18 x 8 in with a 40 offset in front and 19 x 9.5 with a 35 offset in the rear.

Will the BBK fit properly or am I going to be wheel shopping?

I don't think he tracks his car...

Your part right. I have had it on the track for a touring event (up to about 115 at Road America). There will be some more spirited runs in the future. To be honest the rotors hold most of the heat not the calipers. The calipers do get hot though. haven't had an issue yet.

Spacers are fine. You must use a Hubcentric spacer. I am running 15mm spacers all around, but chose to use the ones with longer studs instead of the ones with integral studs because I track the car and didn't want to worry about them coming loose.

So am I going to have to use a spacer on the rear wheels? I've never been a spacer guy. Things fit or they don't. What do you guys think of spacers? Should I go wheel shopping?

I would get rid of the wheels and get some ligher wheels with the correct offset.

Those F-1 decals look the business!! I'm tempted to grind my OEM callipers flat and install them. The Honda Racing ones look the business as well!

Cheers
