I have 91 with all the performance upgrade including short gears/R & P. RM does not offer his 70 shot kit anymore. I Know Nos company offer the kit but is it car specific. Is the setup clean?
Thanks for your reply
Danny

PS eventually I will go with the BB SC.

It is pretty much the same kit offered by RM.

I'd recommend a SC over NOS any day of the week (I've experienced both).

With NOS you do get more of a launch from the extra torque, but filling bottles just doesn't do it for me.

With Mark Basch's SC setup for only a few thousand more, you'll always have the power, and from the #'s he posted, more than a 100RWHP increase.

I never understood why RM's kit was so expensive? Any good installer who has done his share of NOS kits can do it right. The parts can be bought from NOS for $500-$600 and the installer can tell you exactly what to get.
It's basically the bottle, solenoids, and some odds and ends like a gauge, fuel pressure sagety switch, remote opener, etc. The rest is all just wiring.

RM's kit was expensive precisely because it was an NSX plug-and-play kit. All the wiring and hoses were measured and cut, it came with instructions that were simple enough for people who hadn't done a nitrous install before, and it included the nice little switch panel for the ashtray and the new pre-tapped intake and tube. Certainly nothing you couldn't do yourself, but people pay a premium for convenience.
