Well, I've been monitoring this site for too long, waiting for an opportunity to join the club by getting an NSX. Sold my Saleen S281 Mustang convertible and went hunting. Almost bought a 2002, but then I spotted a brand new, never titled, never driven red 2001 at a nearby dealer. Personally, I like the looks of the 2001 vs. the 2002. The dealer wanted to get rid of the car and gave me a terrific deal, including a great trade-in on my other car. So now I've been an NSX owner for 24 hours and am having difficulty wiping the smile off my face! I've never driven a car that so quickly seemed to be an extension of myself. Whoa! Now I understand what y'all have been writing about!

This wouldn't be the red one from Southcoast? I am just asking because I drove by there the other day and they had the Yellow 2000, Red 2001, and Blue 20002. Today, No red one.

Congrats! Sounds like you got a great deal. I am with you in teh 2002 looks! I would just get the SOS HID kit and then you have the only real advantage of the 2002.
You're right, Matt -- it's the red one from South Coast Acura. That yellow 2000 looks pretty sweet, too, if you know someone who's looking. Leeps
Leeps- great purchase I wish mine was a later model, but I cant be happier still with my 93. Hopefully well meet up some time soon at a local event or shop!

Leeps- yes- thats the only shop I would ever go to, also since they built the car I bought from the ground up...I would say up to 75% of socal. owners go there for service...and some serious GO FAST CRAZY people & Cars....including me!
Not to mention the latest horry story on the email list at South Coast Acura...
I will most likely be down there this Sat afternoon about 3pm with another NSX maybe...
Khue- I didnt see the girl since Thurs. of last week....saw her yesterday, didnt know how she would react...she looked me straight on, smiled and said hello...of course I couldnt resist and smiled right back at her..
