Sorta done with my KW install, what do you guys think of the height? Is it good or does it need to go lower. I think I am down 1.75 to 2" from stock.

Here it is stock:

And now:

And when it was slammed:

It's pretty comfortable now, not even close to rubbing, good travel. But I got so used to that slammed photo now I am wondering if its too high.

when you was slammed was you rubbing? where at front or rear , and rubbing how , inclines?

looks good regardless

For me, where it is now looks like the perfect height. When it was slammed it looked like your suspension was damaged.

When I were slammed, I were rubbing at the front.

On full lock, and over the smallest bump. I would have had to roll the fenders and mess with the liners to clear. Definitely not ideal.

it looks perfect right now; the slammed look was too gangster for such classy car.

what settings are you running your v3s on?

i like the slammed version lol

I don't think you are down 1.75-2" now  Looks closer to 1.25"

Go measure from the spots in the manual and you will know. Just get on your stomach with a tape measure and flash light. :)

From tein's website.... silver NSX 02 wheels - dropped -1.26" F & R.

BTW: If you look at the website, it shows the exact same photos for the S-Tech springs which suppose to be a .67" F / 1" R drop and the Flex coilovers. Obviously the picture used for both is the Flex - and it says 1.26" F/R which looks about right. I know from measuring, I am 1.25" and my car looks about the same as this but a much better color.

I think you are a tad lower like 1.5" but definitely not 1.75-2". Also in the photo the Tein is taken straight on and your photo is angled down just a bit. Plus you have spacers, the Tein photo does not. But I think you are probably 1/4" lower than the Tein. When your car was slammed it was probably around 2".

IMO it is perfect where it is. just call it Silverlocks - not too high and not too low, just right.

you are waisting your 10k$ suspension in slammed mode.....it needs spring travel to work for you......keep it as is:smile: and capt is right more like 1.25-1.5 inch drop

I'm definitely lower than the picture Jim is posting.

OK it's staying where it is. Jim thanks for the pictures there. I'm going to hand that to the guy when I corner balance after I get Dave's non-compliance parts in. I read pbassjo's post in the other thread talking of measurement points from the suspension but I couldn't figure it out, this makes it very clear.

As far as color... I can't begin to tell you how good silverstone looks in person. It's a real titanium-like color. When you see the large rotors (that don't show well in photos) and the offset color of the wheels it looks amazing. The car is getting a lot more looks and points and comments since its been lowered and wheel spacers went in. From everybody. I can't park anywhere without coming back to people looking inside and under the car.

They're not V3's. They are competitions. Right now they are on what billy gave me. I'd post them but I doubt it will benefit many people as I don't know anyone else that has these.

I think it looks great Dave.

Much better now. Slammed on stock wheels is no bueno and incomplet-o. IMO, the larger/wider wheels are a must-have to complete that lowwww look of slammed cars. Your stock wheels work at the current ride height and don't make the car look akward. Not to mention the front lip- you sir are in dire need of some aftermarket wheels I would say. I know how much you love those stockers though...

Are you planning on getting different or bigger wheels?

There are 15mm spacers on the front and 25mm on the rear I am surprised anyone tells me to get spacers looking at the car from a side angle. The stance is perfect on it now, the wheel wells are very full and there is a slight negative camber on the rear, but nothing ridiculous. This current look has come based fully on performance. The spacers are there to clear the stoptechs, and are the minimum necessary. The front vented lip's vents are feeding cool air right into the STMPO brake ducts. The negative camber in the rear comes from alignment settings per billy Johnson's recommendations. The ride height is dictated the amount of travel and alignment limits my suspension installer recommended. He said I can go a bit lower but I will need to get Dave's non-compliance beam bearings installed first. Ravi told me the VRH kit in this setup will probably have more lift than usual, because of these dampers. Nothing rubs, everything clears now. So this current setup is definitely performance configured and that's usually my goal.

I am not planning on bigger wheels up front because they will be too heavy and will limit me to shitty tire choices... I may do a 17/18 combo advan RSII because they are incredibly light, but when I look at the car with the OEM wheels I just love it. I love that little "forged" stamp on them. :D Photos REALLY don't capture how this car looks now. It gets so many compliments. I have to see what these new RSII's colors look like in person, they won't be out til end of July or August realistically.

I am thinking of adding downforce DFR side vents because one of the real features on this car now is the carbon rear on the wing and rear window garnish, which when in the sun... really shows the weave, and I can pickup the same thing on the side vents. And a larger scoop just says "I'm not stock" in a very subtle way. I would like to hear some opinions on this.

I have some carbon B-pillar covers but I might put them on to save weight and paint them, or sell them. I don't want to create a random carbon part here and there look like there was no design to it.

I might end up buying the RSII's and if I don't like them, sticking my OEM's back on. Then someone is going to get a sweet deal on new RSII's.

If I do go lower, it'll be very little. Perhaps 0.25". I have to how up my lift and see what I am getting for clearance. Right now I am pretty sure I can even run 235's up front and not rub. When I am all done maybe I can enter my own hottest nsx contest in the silver category. LOL. Maybe I can get third place or something.
