I am looking at a NSX that is in Texas ... I wanted to ask if any one knows how much it would cost to bring it to Los Angeles from Texas. And if and one would recommend a particular company to do this. I want to not pay to much for transportation and see what is a fare price to pay...

Thanks

First you must decide on either covered or non-covered (open) transportation. Obviously covered transport is more $$ but well worth it.

I recently had mine transported from Detroit to Pasadena and covered transport was $1800. Delivery was 6 days.

I've seen/heard of less but wouldn't trust those companies. Expect to pay about that, if its less and you're comfortable with the company, then your ahead and count your blessings. Be sure to ask about their insurance coverage and the deductible.

Also, doing a search on this forum yielded the following information you should read...

VampNSX - you could buy mine, and I'd send you a Southwest Airlines ticket to fly here (Texas) and drive your new baby home. $1800 seems like a lot to have a car shipped when you could enjoy the drive yourself...:)

Transport Companies

InterCity - www.intercitylines.com
1-800-221-3936
$1595.

Passport - www.passporttransport.com
800-325-4267
$1689.

TN'T
Mary Anno
866-566-5227

$1625

Above are the quotes I got from three reputiple companies for door-to-door enclosed shipping from San Diego to Orlando.

I went with TN'T. Their customer service during the booking process was *far* superior to the other two. Also, Mary could give me actual dates when the car would be picked up, before I signed up. I recommend them highly.

The other two just wanted me to sign up, and said "we'll get you on the schedule in a couple days...." I actually hired Intercity, but ended canceling -- after 4 days they still couldn't give me a approximate date when the car would be picked up. ("call back tomorrow....")

here is another decent car moving company.

Exotic Car Transport

They use open or enclosed trailers based upon your price selection.

800-766-8797

They shipped mine from Boston to Pensacola Florida enclosed to my front door for $1000.

Covered is def the way to go.
I've heard of good things about Exotic Car transport.
I had my car shipped (open, a bad experience) from Sacramento to Texas for $750, closed for $1000. It was NATV, but I woudln't recommend it.
Good luck.
