Thanks Doc,wasn't even aware of that switch.
Just in case you don't know: The sense of this switch together with one of the keys for the car is to prevent that a chauffeur (or parking guy or shop technician) has access to the trunk. One of your keys (in my case it's grey instead of black) doesn't open the trunk and the glove box, only the passenger compartment doors and the ignition. The switch in the glove box disactivates the trunk release cable.

I once spent a whole day taking my door apart, tracing wires, etc.

Finally got out the service manual to check other troubleshooting and found the note about the switch in the glove box! Dooh!

:frown:

I removed my glove box unplugged the switch and forgot to plug it back in! Took me a couple days to figured that one out! LOL

The answers here just saved my a$$ big time! Thanks guys!

Only problem...I used the search feature for "trunk switch" and "trunk release" here on prime and found...ZILCH!

Typed "NSX trunk release switch not working" into Google: BINGO!

Next time someone pounds another for not using "search", I'll remind them that "search" is hit or miss at best.... :(

Seriously now, who do you know that has a chauffeur for their 2 seater?

Oh, never mind, you're in Europe.
