Trying to identify what I think was a Ferrari

Driving back from lunch, a coworker and I came up on a car on a flatbed. My first thought as I approached was an old 240Z. As I got closer is was clearly not a 240Z but I had no idea what it was. From the back and side it was very similar but behind the drivers window was a louvered area instead of another window.

Pulling ahead we could see the stallion on the yellow background but the logo didn't look like the current Ferrari logo (in fact I said, who's logo is that? Ferrari didn't even come to mind). I don't think it was on a shield and it didn't have the italian flag colors or say Ferrari. Even from the front it didn't look like a Ferrari. The tailpipes were about 1/4 of the way in on each side and were absolutely tiny. The driver yelled out the window to us that it was 'a brazillian volkswagon'. Thanks a lot :P.

Dunno if any of this helps. Basically the key things were 240Z looking with louvers on each side of the car behind the front windows and the black stallion on the yellow background on the front of the car.

Heh.... looks like it may REALLY have been a brazilian volkswagon (with a Ferrari badge on the front). I thought the guy was joking but I did a search and it looks like it might have been a "Puma".

this could have been it
