I know we have a rare vehicle, but reading this article really struck me. Like why am I driving something so irreplaceable? Yikes. Looking at their numbers and then thinking "350" is mind boggling.

Anyway, actually driving it makes it fun to see people comment about a "cool car". But the best comments are from people who recognize it, and their comment is "Awesome, I've never seen one before". Those are the best.

Because at the end of the day, it's only a car and we aren't promised tomorrow. I'm not saving this one for the next guy/gal. Driving and ripping on this every single chance I get. It's one of those cars I look for an excuse to drive places.

Regarding the Corvette stats, I always find that comical. Then again, it is certainly a ton of car for the money but who feels like joining the jean shorts and white new balance crowd this early in life. J/K

Why am I driving something so rare? Nowhere near as irreplaceable as you. Or my wife, or ...

Way too many friends gone too young, and I see folks with sudden bad news every day at work.

I waited way too long to get the NSX I was always dreaming of. Thank the Lord I didn't wait any longer and I'm going to enjoy it. But good point on the C8 - not rare despite so many Corvette owners fixation on this. NSX-T's with pop-ups however...

I LOL when someone tries to convince me how “rare” the C8 is. Corvette world is just weird like that. It’ll be ok every street corner any time now…
