Unexpected surprises
Have you ever had encounters with cars/trucks that are much faster than you had anticipated?
I was very impressed by a Toyota truck. I had an encounter with a Toyota Tacoma X runer truck today on a freeway entrance. I always does a quick 0~60mph on this long 1/4 mile long 2 lane freeway entrance.
I was very suprised by the Tacoma X Runner. It stayed on my rear bumper all the way up to 90~100mph. I simply could not pull away until the curve at the end.
The Tacoma probably went wide open throttle a split second ahead of me, but with a much lighter and more powerful car, I was expecting different outcome even if he had a head start. The Tacoma X-Runner only has 236hp/266lb-ft of torque stock, even with TRD supercharger or Nitrous. I don't see how can it even match a 270rwhp, 2950lb lightly modded NSX.
