I accidentally subscribed to a forum. What does this mean exactly & how can I undo it? Thank you.

Go into "user cp" and click on "unsubscribe."

This means that when you click on the "user cp" (user control panel) button, it will show you the list of only those forums you have subscribed to. This way, if you find that you're always visiting the same 3-4 forums all the time, you can subscribe to them and have a customized page listing just the forums YOU are interested in.
