Use JDM Nav Pod as "docking station" with Archos Media Tablet w/7" touchscreen

This looks like the perfect candidate for a Nav Pod install. The Nav Pod could actually be made into a docking station. You could hook the amps and everything else up by using the USB as a 2.1 (or 4.1) audio out. Just thinking out loud here.

Here's more information:

hotness...

That's really-really cool! Nice find, or at least bringin' it to my attention. I'm all about the ~7"+ screens... :D

(a lot of the other petite portable/tablet pc's were a P.I.T.A. when I looked into them to serve as a carputer-type of setup)

I assume this has built-in WiFi & can be GPS-enabled, etc'? (Osiris_x11 -> total 'tech light-weight :p)

This thingie' sorta reminds me of the Clarion MIND that Malibu Rapper mentioned to me a week or so ago.

Though, I just got a rather simple/pleb'like AVIC F500BT for my NSX (to be mounted in the JDM Nav' pod), I'm likely gonna move onto something WiFi enabled, in due-time. . .

Correct!

Get this... it's touch screen but also has a remote control. The remote control has a full keyboard on it for easy web-browsing.

I was thinking you could just hook this thing into the stock stereo through the CD changer input and the only thing you would need to change would be to install the Nav Pod and connecting wiring from the Archos to the stock stereo.
