VA emission test?

Hey VA guys. Quick question about the emission test they do here. Do they do steady speed testing such as 15mph and 25mph test or do they actually do real life driving situation test where they accelerate up and down? Also, is their setup usually safe for the nice expensive wheels we all have?

ak- the test is done on rollers and will not harm your wheels. i believe they do it at idle and at higher RPM, but they don't do an "up-and-down" rev thing. as long as you haven't messed with your catalytic converter you should be fine- aftermarket exhausts shouldn't affect the emissions result.
