I remember way back seeing one of these installs where the owner installed his V-1 in a pedestal type mount over the rear shoulder.....

Given the NSX has such a low stance this should work very well for both front and rearward visibility. I can't remember who did it.....

I'm planning my ICE setup right now and realize that the Eclipse AVN double din touchscreen will trigger the V-1 sensors so if I chose this V-1 setup I'll have to go with a non-touchscreen display.

anyone help me find this link?

thanks

I have a Mugen harness/roll bar with a custom attachment for the V1. It is mounted near the top of the passenger side roll hoop and sits high up near the glass.

The placement has been great so far and with the remote display it is pretty stealth.

I had mine built into my passenger side sunvisor (rewrapped with leather) and hard wired there. It is out of the way and works well from front and rear angles with out it sitting next to your head out in the open...

Dali sells the bottom part of the pedestal.
For the top part, you'll have to track the guy down who used to sell them and see if he has any left. I called him a few months ago and he had a few left. I bought one.
