virus from Niello?

i got an email from [email protected] with a zip attachment. subject is "new prices". the message just says "password protected". seems very suspicious.

anyone get this message? i replied and haven't heard anything back.

Ditto. There was another similar e-mail a few days ago from the manager to Esther. I will let them know.

Some computer viruses function by sending virus e-mails to everyone in someone's address book, and "spoofing" the sender address so that it looks like they come from other entries in the address book. It's possible that they weren't sent by anyone at Niello, but came from a virus on an individual's computer which had Niello e-mail addresses in the address book.

They found the culprit computer at Niello that had the virus two days ago - and they appreciate the feedback from this forum. Will see when the spam will stop - I got the same e-mail again yesterday.
