VW 1L due by 2010

Honestly it looks very dated. Maybe from the 60's.

Yeah, I can see what you mean. Seems like whenever I watch an old movie, whenever the setting is in the future, cars have a bubble canopy.
So it's retro futuristic.

that car is gay
Yes, it is quite a happy looking car, isn't it?

I'm presuming that's what you meant, because other definitions of your word would be homophobic and offensive.

(You should also learn how to spell the word "conservative" -- it doesn't help your cause to appear illiterate.)

Yes, thanks Bob. Gay is not a politically correct term. Unless you did mean that it is happy or lighthearted.

Back on topic, I wouldn't want to be stuck in that thing in a roll-over.

pwn'd

whos trying to not appear illiterate? im not the most booksmart person in the world, thanks for the spellcheck though, i am going to fold my tail inbetween my legs and correct it:wink:

so are you on the list for this 1l diesel motorcycle bubble thingy?

seriously.... why don't they take it a step further and make the car look appealing? even if they need to make it look like that, why do the headlights look so terrible?

i wonder what would happen if you just stuck a tiny diesel on a bike or even scooter. i'd rather roll one of those. ofc, the drag coefficient is pretty much equivalent to that of a barn door

Homosexual proclivities of the vehicle notwithstanding … I would trade 100 mpg if only it came with a little more pep. Hopefully they’ll throw another piston and an A/C in that bad boy.
120 km/h equals 74.5645431 mph (give or take), so it needs to be faster.

If it really puts out 235mpg I can see how it could be very popular as fuel prices continue to rise.

I don't think I'll buy one, tho' -- for a nextgen car I'm looking for a very efficient PHEV.

Ummm... Naahhhhhh!

I still want a H1 Humvee in my driveway!
