Want to upgrade 93 OEMs. What is best?

I have a 1993 with OEM front and rear wheels. What is the maximum wheel diameter and width (and corresponding tire sizes) that I can use and not have any clearance problems and still maintain the original outer diameter so I don't give the TCS fits?

215/40-17 front, 265/35-18 rear will work fine and will avoid the problems you mention.
