Ok... How many of you have replaced your water pumps I have done it a lot on my other cars back in the day so should I try it or take it to the shop?

You generally replace the w/p with the timing belt....since you have to remove the belt to get to the pump.

So just do a search on DIY replace timing belt. Replacing the w/p is trivial compared to the timing belt...

How many of you have replaced your water pumps

Most mechanics do this at the same time as the timing belt, just as drew recommends. I would guess that most of us who have had our timing belts replaced, have had the water pumps done at the same time. On the '91-96 NSX, the timing belt is recommended for replacement every 90K miles or 6 years, whichever comes first.
