Darn...I washed my car on Saturday. Went to my brothers on Sunday for a B.B.Q and swim. When it was time to leave, noticed sprinklers went on. Sprayed all over my car.
It has water marks on it now. What do I do? Is a silverstone color NSX.
btw, the sprinkler system uses well water and is filtered thru alot of salt. How can I get the water markes off the car?
Thanks all,
Calvin

Same thing happened to me last summer. I think you can even search "sprinkler" + "water"+ "spots" and find my thread. Bottom line is, I had to completely strip the car using acrysol. Polish compound (using a porter cable) wouldn't remove them. Try less complicated measures first though. First thing I would try would be some vinager. Good luck.

Thats funny...we're on a well here too and filter it through salt. Whenever I get sprinkler spots on my car and they settle, a good hard scrub usually gets them off. If not, a cleaner wax does the trick.

Vinegar is a great solution but be careful not to get it in hard to clean spots because it will end up stinky :)

I believe green rubbing alcohol will work as well.

Hi,
I just bought meguire Quick Detailer and it took it right off.
It looks like glass again. I only did the front with it.
Im going to wash car again tomorrow to see if washing will take it off It probably will. I guess I got lucky that it didnt burn onto the paint and needing to go thru all that.
Take care
Calvin
