What are you protecting your ClearBra with?

My installer recommended only spray wax. I have been using Meguiars spray wax. Maybe I just need to realize that the clear bra will never be "slick" like the paint will. I guess I feel I am just not getting it enough wax.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks.

I have the 3M StarShield Bra...I just use the standard stuff, Zymol Japon wax in my case.

We recently had a 3M clear bra installed on the new TL. Rather than doing my normal Zaino treatment on this car (Z-2, Z-5), I decided to use only Z-CS on it. I'm also using it on the bra and don't expect any ill effects.

A search of the web on this topic indicates no problems with applying almost any wax or polymer over a clear bra, most manufacturers recommended it. The only thing I wouldn't use on a bra is clay. I recall reading in another forum about somebody doing so and ruining the bra's finish.

6 years of normal waxing and 3m clear bra still looks brand new!!

RejeX, on recommnedation from my clear bra installer. The important thing to remember is not to use a color wax on your clear bra. Clear and white wax is preferred over a color wax. Try to avoid yellow color wax as this may discolor your clear bra. I used to wax my clear bra with what I wax the NSX with. Now, I use RejeX on the clear bra, and the rest of the NSX.
